It’s very hard for Christian Bale to talk about his 1892-set movie Hostiles without also talking about America under Donald Trump.
“[My wife] likes to be very private. And of course, I want to maintain that … but we have a great private life” the English actor, 43, told Us at the Hostiles premiere in Beverly Hills. “She’s probably the most strong woman I’ve ever come across in my life,” he gushed while his love stood beside him. “And I — You’re making me all tearful! I’m too much of a softie! I don’t think I am, but then you got me with that!”
An interview to Mr. Philip Berk.
Looking back on your career, are you happy with the way it has progressed?
I look back and I see a lot of bad films there, but there’s some really good ones as well.
It’s always a team effort, and you never know if you are on the same page with the director until you actually start filming.
